Baltimore Pissed @ Wale Using Profinity/Racial Slurs During Performance

Apparently, a few weeks ago Wale pissed some folks off during his recent performance at Artscape. Artscape is Baltimore’s annual “family friendly,” free art and music festival. Folks were complaining that he used curse words and some racial references (dropped a few n-bombs), neither which are appropriate for children. This story was so important that the Washington Post and WBAL covered it. According to the Post, Tracy Baskerville with Baltimore’s Office of Promotion and the Arts says officials were deeply disturbed by the language he used.

Here’s a clip from his performance:

Of course, Wale had a response (via twitter), I just don’t understand what the hell he was saying, “I keep hearing stuff bout me cursing at the artscape…like I’m banned from there…” 10:51 PM Jul 21st via UberTwitter
